Side Plate - 3mm pure carbon fibre chamfered goodness
This side plate has been chamfered all the way around the front edge of the part, to prevent delamination in crashes. It locks into the chassis plate in front and is secured in place with a captive nylock top and bottom. There are holes to adjust your GoPro Session style cameras from 10-20-30-40 degrees. A cool feature here is the higher you push your camera angle the more you sink the Session camera down into the frame, so the sides offer more and more protection for your HD camera.
The small hole at the lower edge of the plate is for an M2 self-tapping screw to secure your TPU pilot camera print in place. This isn't strictly necessary as the print is quite snug, but there if you want to use it.
